# Testnets

## Alpha testnet: <a href="#id-01ee" id="id-01ee"></a>

* **NFT**: You can choose from your personal NFTs and assign one as your profile picture.
* **Sending different coins:** The wallet UI now supports other tokens you might be holding, so you can send them to other names.alph as well!
* **Animation:** Pending Transaction animation added.
* **Favourite feature added:** Choose your favorite username.alph, which will be shown at the bottom of the profile sidebar widget.
* **Renew feature added:** The button will be enabled only when you mint your username for 30 days.

### Name Management:

* Assign your name to resolve to other address. You can assign it to your cross-shard accounts as well. You will remain manager.
* Transfer your name completely to another account. Ownership and managing rights are transferred.

### Profiles:

* Users can broadcast their profile with their registered name and an optional profile image, which other people and dapps can resolve and use across the Alephium ecosystem.
* Create and broadcast your profile for everyone to see.

### Contracts:

* Improved and optimized V2 contracts which enable easier indexing, cross-shard management, and extensibility for adding extra features like a marketplace.

### Off-Chain indexer (WIP):

* Off-chain indexer that can help alleviate pressure public Alephium infra and help with building extra features like name and profile explorers.

### ANS SDK:

* Completely decentralized and easy way for partners and everyone else to integrate with ANS.

### Notes:

* At the time of writing, the testnet has a lot of reorgs happening, on average 10 uncle blocks per one tx, which can make you experience slow-downs and perhaps you can end up out of sync. Refreshing and resyncing can fix your issues if you notice that you are out of sync.
* At the start, there is a limit of 2 name registers. There are multiple reasons for this. The name registers are pretty cheap and it's easy to spam the network and register (squat) names. \
  Please register your favorite name that you would like to reserve for Mainnet and broadcast your profile with it. :)&#x20;
